As a new television model, the Samsung TV 2023 is designed to provide the best possible viewing experience. Its features range from QD OLED display panels to Object Tracking Sound technology. In addition to the features of its 65-inch and 55-inch models, the new TV also boasts expanded local and national news coverage.
55-inch and 65-inch sizes
Samsung’s new TV line has two sizes: the 55-inch and 65-inch. Both models offer high-definition video at a 120Hz refresh rate. These features are ideal for delivering an immersive viewing experience. Support for Nvidia’s G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync VRR systems ensures smooth gameplay without screen tearing or stuttering. In addition, the new C1 TVs come with a sports alert feature to keep you updated on scores, stats, and league standings.
Samsung also focuses on the software powering its smart TVs. Its S95B is the first QD-OLED television to incorporate the company’s own technology – blue OLED panels combined with quantum dots to create a much brighter and more accurate image. It also offers HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on all ports and a new Gaming Hub. Premium models also feature an array of premium features including new gaming features and a 144Hz refresh rate. The company also offers three new models in its Lifestyle TV line: Serif, Frame, and Sero.
The 55-inch model has a recommended viewing distance of 5.5 feet. But if you’re sitting farther away, you may want to size up to a 65-inch or 75-inch TV. While smaller models may still feature HD resolution, the majority of new models will offer 4K resolution. Moreover, many of these new TVs support voice control and smart TV interfaces.
QD OLED display panels
Samsung has unveiled the world’s first 77-inch QD OLED display panel TV, bringing the total screen size to seventy-seven inches. Up until now, QD-OLED display panels are only available in 55 and 65-inch sizes. Sony, on the other hand, offers a 65-inch QD-OLED TV. The new television has already received a five-star review.
Samsung Display has recently increased its yield for QD-OLED panels to 85%, resulting in cheaper panels. The company also plans to expand its production capacity by up to 30% and introduce new technologies. Nevertheless, the company has not yet announced a specific date for its expansion to increase capacity.
Samsung Display’s goal is to attract more TV manufacturers to incorporate its QD-OLED display panels. At present, the only TV manufacturers using its QD-OLED panels are Sony and Samsung Electronics. However, TCL and Panasonic have expressed interest in incorporating the technology into their televisions.
The QD-OLED panel is made by combining Quantum Dot color technology with OLED technology. Currently, QD-OLED display panels are extremely expensive to produce, but prices are expected to drop as they become more flexible. Samsung is also planning to introduce a rollable QD-OLED television that will compete with LG’s OLED televisions.
QD-OLED display panels use a quantum dot layer instead of a color filter. This allows them to reach peak brightness levels of 1,000 nits or more. Some of the Neo QLED models from Samsung reach up to 2,000 nits. That is more than enough for a top-notch HDR viewing experience.
