Best TVs of 2025

With so many TVs available on the market it can be difficult to know which one is right for you. To help you out, we’ve put together this list of the best tvs 2025 that combine quality, features and price.

For example, if you’re a gaming enthusiast, then a model with advanced motion handling and a fast response time could be a good choice. You’ll also want a TV with plenty of HDMI 2.1 ports for connecting your games consoles and other devices.

LG C2 OLED

The LG C2 OLED is a high-end, premium television that will provide you with an incredible HDR experience. In addition to a dazzling range of colors, the C2 OLED also offers pure black levels and near-black shadow detail.

Its a9 AI processor Gen6 does a great job of enhancing upscaling and dynamic tone mapping for improved image quality. It’s also compatible with Dolby Atmos and virtual 9.1.2 surround sound, so you can enjoy a rich, immersive experience from the comfort of your couch.

We tested the LG C2 OLED in a large-screen living room using a ‘Cinema’ HDR picture mode with OLED Pixel Brightness, Contrast, and Peak Brightness all set to their maximum settings. The TV delivered very good overall performance, but the C2 OLED did not go as bright in ‘Game’ mode when displaying small bright highlights in dark scenes.

Similarly, it was also slightly less bright than the C1 OLED when displaying small bright highlights in SDR. This is because the C2 OLED’s WRGB panel does not have a truer color gamut than the C1 OLED, and its dynamic tone mapping also doesn’t seem to respect the creator’s intent as well as it does on the C1.

While the LG C2 OLED may be slightly less bright than last year’s flagship OLED, it still is quite an impressive TV. It can handle a wide variety of HDR formats and upscaling, it’s got advanced gaming features and Dolby Atmos audio support, and it’s very affordable.

One of the biggest upgrades that LG has made to this year’s G3 OLED evo series is the introduction of a new Micro Lens Array technology that improves the way the pixels are focused and mapped for better brightness. The company claims that this upgrade can make the OLED evo G3 70% brighter than the previous generation’s model, ensuring that even the brightest HDR sources look more vivid and compelling.

The LG G3 OLED evo also comes with an ultra-seamless One Wall Design, leaving no gap between the screen and its wall mount. This aesthetic upgrade is particularly welcome because it makes the G3 OLED evo a much more attractive option for buyers who prefer a sleek, modern-looking home theatre setup.

Sony XR A90J

With awe-inspiring contrast, our brightest-ever OLED picture and next-generation TV technology, the Sony XR A90J is the best tv you can buy. Its OLED panels are powered by a revolutionary Cognitive Processor XR, which understands how humans see and hear to deliver breathtakingly accurate contrast and an incredibly lifelike display of colors.

OLED is an innovative, organic lighting technology that uses individual pixels to emit and create the image on screen. OLED screens have a high pixel count, which means that they can produce rich, detailed black tones and extremely crisp whites, making them perfect for watching movies.

The A90J’s OLED panel has been developed with a new generation of pixel boosters and the XR Processor, which has been designed to maximize contrast and brightness. The result is a stunningly realistic display, which looks amazing in any setting, even outdoors.

Despite its hefty price tag, the A90J is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a top-of-the-line OLED TV with the best possible picture quality and a great set of features. Its Google TV experience is a welcome step forward, too, while its Bravia Core streaming service adds an extra layer of value.

Its peak brightness and wide color spectrum mean it’s also a top choice for the keenest movie watcher. And the Sony’s motion processing and HDR tone mapping mean it offers an exceptional cinematic experience.

But it’s not just the cinematic experience that the A90J has to offer – it’s also an excellent gaming TV, too. If you’re a PlayStation 5 owner, it has the support for 4K at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

While the A90J’s four HDMI ports aren’t as many as LG’s, they do provide enough bandwidth to drive all of your next-gen consoles without the need for eARC. Its Dolby Vision game mode is a must for those playing the latest titles from Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

The Sony A90J may be an expensive television, but it’s an exceptional one. It’s an OLED TV with a huge screen that delivers brilliant, immersive performance. And it’s backed up by an equally impressive audio system that is capable of producing punchy, dynamic sound. Its Acoustic Surface Audio+ arrangement is a unique feature that converts the entire surface of the screen into a speaker, backed up by two rear-firing low-frequency drivers.

Samsung QN90B

The Samsung QN90B is a fantastic mini LED TV with a huge range of features that makes it ideal for both gaming and general entertainment. It’s available in sizes ranging from 43 to 85 inches and is currently on sale with some incredible deals so it’s a great time to grab yourself a bargain!

The QN90B’s picture quality starts with its Neo QLED, mini-LED powered backlight which has full-array local dimming – this improves LCD image quality by making certain areas of the screen dimmer or brighter in response to what’s on the screen, which significantly boosts contrast. It also supports HDR, which is a standard in this price range, as well as 4K at 120Hz.

It’s a powerful, high-end feature set that will have you coming back for more. In our testing, the QN90B delivered excellent black levels and a good level of color accuracy.

As far as gaming is concerned, the QN90B has a number of features that gamers will appreciate including fast response times, low input lag, and support for all three VRR formats (AMD FreeSync, Nvidia G-Sync, and Samsung’s own Game Bar). If you’re not a gamer, the TV still delivers superb picture quality at any viewing angle, which means it’s a very versatile piece of kit.

In my testing, I was impressed by the fact that the QN90B kept a great level of contrast and punch in bright rooms, particularly when it came to HDR content. The QN90B’s screen also has a very wide viewing angle, so it’s perfect for watching games with friends or family.

There’s also a plethora of connections built into the QN90B’s bodywork, so you don’t have to worry about having to buy an external box to connect it to your TV or Blu-ray player. It’s also one of the few TVs I’ve tested with a built-in ATSC 3.0 tuner, so you can get Next-Gen TV signals.

In addition to all this, the QN90B is a very well-made TV with great build quality and premium materials used throughout. The frame is a nice jet black finish that looks sleek and modern, while the stand feels robustly crafted and is brushed metal. It’s also easy to put on narrow pieces of furniture and looks very nice in a minimalist room.

Hisense U6H

There’s no shortage of great TVs on the market right now, but the Hisense U6H is a standout for its excellent image quality and user-friendly interface. Available in both Google TV and Fire TV variants, the U6H offers a smooth, responsive platform that’s easy to use, and it supports a wide array of streaming apps.

The U6H features a 4K panel and supports HDR, along with a variety of other video formats. It also features a full-array LED panel with local dimming and quantum dots for an expanded color gamut.

Hisense’s patented ULED technologies boost color, contrast, brightness, and motion. This combination of proprietary hardware and software technologies delivers a completely unique and engaging picture that’s only possible from Hisense.

It’s also capable of displaying 4K resolution at up to 60Hz, which is impressive for any smart television. In addition, it supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as a number of other HDR formats.

In terms of inputs, the U6H has four HDMI 2.0 ports, one of which carries eARC capability for routing sound from the TV to compatible audio devices. In addition, there’s a USB 2.0 port and two RCA inputs for other sources.

The Hisense U6H also has a built-in NEXTGEN TV tuner that supports high-quality over-the-air broadcast content. It also features Dolby Atmos support for immersive audio.

Another big feature of the U6H is its peak brightness, which is impressive for a budget set. The panel’s SDR peak brightness is good enough to fight glare in a well-lit room and it maintains that brightness well across different scenes.

Hisense’s Quantum Dot technology creates over a billion color combinations, which allows for more accurate colors than standard LED TVs. This means that your favorite movies, TV shows, and games will appear more realistic than ever before.

The Hisense U6H is a great choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home theater setup with an affordable smart TV. It offers a stunning array of premium features for a fair price, and the image quality is on par with some higher-end models.
