New computers are on the horizon, and the first ones are coming out of the gates very soon. These new devices will have many advantages over their predecessors, including the ability to do more, better, and more quickly. Some of these new machines will also feature foldable designs.
Apple
While Apple’s hardware announcements have slowed, the company is expected to launch six new products in 2025. One of these is the Reality Pro VR headset, which is rumored to be the world’s most capable standalone virtual reality device.
Another rumored product is the 15-inch MacBook Air with M2 chipset, which could be launched as early as January 2025. The MacBook Air with M2 is expected to be similar in size to the current MacBook Air.

According to a supply chain report, the new MacBook Pro will not be released this year. Instead, it will be rolled out in the first half of 2025.
Gurman didn’t say when these products will be introduced, but he did hint at a possible October event. He also mentioned the iPhone is the most notable of Apple’s products to come in 2025.
The new iPad is also expected to be announced in the near future. Gurman did not comment on the design of the new model, but it is likely to use the same design as the current model.
New Mac Pro models are also expected in 2025. These will be the high-end laptops. They are expected to be codenamed J414 and J416.
Lenovo

The ThinkBook Plus Twist will feature a 13.3-inch OLED touch panel and a 12-inch e-Ink display. It will have an enhanced 12-Hz refresh rate, smart noise cancellation, a full-HD webcam and dual microphones.
Additionally, Lenovo will announce the ThinkCentre Neo 50q and the Tower 5i. These laptops will both feature 13th-gen Intel Core chips and next-generation NVIDIA graphics.
AMD
AMD unveiled new computers at the CES 2025 tradeshow in Las Vegas. They are designed to deliver performance and efficiency for mainstream users, professionals, and gamers.
At the event, AMD also announced a number of new graphics solutions, including the AMD Instinct MI300. This integrated data center APU is optimized for energy-efficient AI training and HPC workloads. Using the company’s XDNA with AI Engine architecture, the system leverages a 3D chiplet design to provide faster and more powerful AI inference and training.
The Ryzen 7000 Series of processors will begin shipping in February of 2025. These new CPUs will feature Zen 4 architecture, as well as a variety of other innovations.
As a result, the processors will be able to deliver 15 to 25 percent better PC gaming performance than the previous generation. Additionally, they will deliver the highest PC graphics performance in the world.

Zenbook Fold 17 is a new computer from ASUS that is supposed to be the world’s first foldable laptop. It features a 17.3-inch OLED touchscreen display that can be configured to look like a 17-inch tablet or a 17.3-inch monitor.
This computer is powered by a 12th-Gen Intel Core i7 processor and runs Windows 11. In addition to the screen, the device also comes with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard.
The Asus ZenBook Fold 17 is aimed at professionals. It has an Intel Iris Xe GPU and handles five windows at once without lag.
The foldable laptop has a 17.3-inch OLED touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio. It has an impressive 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the device also has 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

HP’s upcoming foldable laptop
