Ultraportable Laptops 2025

Whether you are looking for an ultraportable laptop that can be taken on a long flight, or you are on the go and need to be able to perform your everyday tasks, there are some options that will be available in the year 2025. Those include the Dell XPS 13 and the MSI Helios 300.

Lenovo Yoga 9i (Gen 7)

Unlike last year’s Yoga 9i, this model has a new design with a rotating speaker bar. It also has a new, bigger touchpad and a redesigned keyboard layout.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i is an all-purpose convertible laptop. It features the latest 12th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU and an optional WQHD+ (2.8K) OLED display. It’s designed to appeal to students and young working professionals. It’s on par with the flagship convertible laptops in its class, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a reliable device.

The Yoga 9i is also available in a lighter silver color option. You can choose from Core i5, i7 or i9 processors, as well as 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

The Yoga 9i’s battery life is pretty good for an ultraportable. We were able to get eight and a half hours from it. But its lack of discrete graphics hardware means that it didn’t have much of an advantage over similar-sized premium laptops.

The Yoga 9i has a few extras, including a smart noise-cancelling mic, an active stylus, and a webcam app. The latter, meanwhile, features a dedicated key for blurring the background when making video calls. Combined with its dual biometric login options, the Lenovo Yoga 9i is an excellent 2-in-1.

The Yoga 9i doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card, but its integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU is powerful enough to handle demanding games. There’s also an Active Pen app, which lets you configure the pen to your liking. It comes with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i has a number of ports, too. You’ll find three USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI port. You’ll also get a power cord, a laptop sleeve, and a stylus.

Dell XPS 13 (2020)

Whether you’re looking for a powerful laptop that can be used for business or personal use, the Dell XPS 13 (2020) ultraportable is an excellent option. It offers good performance, a strong build, and a fantastic screen.

The Dell XPS 13 has been redesigned slightly for the 2020 model, and it’s available in a couple of different panel options. You can choose between a glossy or non-glare panel and opt for a touch or non-touch display. The UHD touch panel has a 500-nit maximum brightness for better outdoor viewing.

The display also has Dolby Vision and HDR support. The display’s maximum brightness is on the low end for true high dynamic range video playback, but it does offer up some nice color coverage.

The keyboard is also a step up from the previous model, thanks to a fingerprint sensor. The Dell XPS 13 features a composite fiber palm rest that’s comfortable to hold and works well.

The Dell XPS 13 is one of the most beautiful ultraportables on the market. It’s been redesigned to have an extra-tall InfinityEdge display, and it has an ultra-thin bezel on the bottom and on either side. It’s also slimmer than the 2019 version, and it comes in icy white or a classic black and silver combo. It’s also the first laptop to have a borderless display.

If you want more power, you can get a dual-core Intel Core i7 processor. You can also opt for a higher-resolution, 3.5k OLED panel. The optional OLED screen will take a toll on the battery, but the professional reviewers who have tested it say it produces bright, colorful pictures.

The Dell XPS 13 is available from Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and Dell. You can also order the device directly from Dell online, and you can extend your warranty for an additional fee.

MSI GE76 Raider

GE76 Raider ultraportable laptops 2025 is a powerhouse of a gaming laptop. It has a high performance, powerful, and smooth CPU, as well as an RTX 3080 graphics card. It also has a hefty battery, and it weighs more than most other laptops. However, it has the speed and power to handle daily use, and can even handle some light gaming. It’s one of the fastest, most powerful and highest-end gaming laptops on the market.

The GE76 Raider is powered by an Intel Core i9-12900HK processor, which can be thermally capped to 35W. This a step up from the previous octa-core Core i9-11980HK processor. This new processor is also an improvement over the i9-11900H used in the Predator Triton 500SE. The CPU is also improved from the previous i9-11900H in that it can go as low as 35W.

The MSI GE76 is a powerful, sleek, and high-end gaming laptop. It features a 17-inch FHD screen that is capable of up to 300 Hz of refresh rate. It offers excellent contrast and colour. Despite being an entry-level panel, it is still 100% sRGB, and has a decent brightness level.

It’s possible to adjust the colors on the GE76 Raider’s screen using MSI’s exclusive Dragon Center software. The screen also has configurable RGB lights. The speakers are top-mounted, with good bass response. It also has a hump behind the screen to aid in thermal design.

The GE76 Raider is an excellent choice for general-use gaming, and it also makes a compelling case for heavier, higher-performance laptops. Although it’s slightly bulkier than most laptops, it’s a very solidly built unit. It’s also an exciting value proposition. The GE76 Raider will be updated in mid-year, and we’ll see new models arrive later in the year.

MSI Helios 300

Whether you’re an avid gamer or just looking for a good gaming laptop for home use, the Helios 300 is a great option. It’s priced at a fraction of what other high-end gaming laptops cost and it packs the power of modern Intel processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics in a sleek design.

The Predator Helios 300 isn’t the prettiest gaming laptop you’ll find, but it’s still a great option. It has all of the power you’ll need for high-end gaming, plus VR support, and it comes with 16GB of RAM.

You can pick up the Predator Helios 300 in the US for around $1100. It’s also available in 17-inch models for a little more. However, the 15-inch model is cheaper, so you may want to consider that if you’re on a budget.

Acer’s Predator line has produced some of the best gaming laptops in the last two years. The new Helios 300 is a great choice for beginning PC gamers.

The Helios 300 isn’t as light as other GTX 1060 laptops, but it isn’t heavy either. It weighs 6 pounds. It doesn’t have a HDMI port, but it does have a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port and a card reader.

Acer’s design doesn’t quite match the Predator series, but the exterior has some nice design touches. The lid has a Predator logo on it, and it has a few red accents. The hinges are solid, and you can set the screen up in a variety of positions.

The screen is a bit flat, and it has a poor color accuracy. It’s also not as bright as other displays, and the contrast ratio isn’t as good. The Webcam is located on top of the screen, and it’s flanked by two microphones. It has an LED indicator to let you know if it’s on.

Apple MacBook Air

Whether you’re a die-hard Apple fan or are just looking for a better ultraportable laptop, the new MacBook Air is an excellent choice. It has a gorgeous screen, a long battery life and a powerful macOS platform. Its $1,499 entry price is below the starting price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro.

The MacBook Air is built on a Broadwell hardware platform, which supports a variety of storage options. Some models even come with RAID solutions and snappy storage options.

The M2 chip is an update to the M1 processor, and it’s 18 percent faster. This chip also has a Media Engine and a boosted graphical performance. There’s also a new color.

The webcam on the new MacBook Air is clearer than it’s ever been. It’s a 1080p camera, and it’s great for video calls. It’s also more color accurate than before.

The display on the new MacBook Air has improved color and brightness. It uses a P3 color gamut, which means it can display more colors than other laptops. The MacBook Air also has Dolby Atmos audio support, which makes for a superior sound experience.

The new MacBook Air also features a butterfly keyboard, Magic Keyboard, and a larger Touch ID sensor. It’s also thinner and lighter than the previous model.

The new MacBook Air’s battery life is comparable to the previous version. It’s not quite as long as a 12-inch MacBook, but it’s still pretty good. It was tested at a maximum brightness of 50, and it managed 17 hours of video playback.

The new MacBook Air features a T2 security chip that provides encryption services for macOS. It also hosts the Secure Enclave that allows users to log in via Touch ID. The T2 chip is also used to provide a secure boot.
