Lenovo Yoga 9i (Gen 7)
Unlike last year’s Yoga 9i, this model has a new design with a rotating speaker bar. It also has a new, bigger touchpad and a redesigned keyboard layout.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i is an all-purpose convertible laptop. It features the latest 12th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU and an optional WQHD+ (2.8K) OLED display. It’s designed to appeal to students and young working professionals. It’s on par with the flagship convertible laptops in its class, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a reliable device.
The Yoga 9i is also available in a lighter silver color option. You can choose from Core i5, i7 or i9 processors, as well as 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs.
The Yoga 9i’s battery life is pretty good for an ultraportable. We were able to get eight and a half hours from it. But its lack of discrete graphics hardware means that it didn’t have much of an advantage over similar-sized premium laptops.

The Yoga 9i doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card, but its integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU is powerful enough to handle demanding games. There’s also an Active Pen app, which lets you configure the pen to your liking. It comes with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i has a number of ports, too. You’ll find three USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI port. You’ll also get a power cord, a laptop sleeve, and a stylus.
Dell XPS 13 (2020)
Whether you’re looking for a powerful laptop that can be used for business or personal use, the Dell XPS 13 (2020) ultraportable is an excellent option. It offers good performance, a strong build, and a fantastic screen.

MSI GE76 Raider

Although it’s slightly bulkier than most laptops, it’s a very solidly built unit. It’s also an exciting value proposition. The GE76 Raider will be updated in mid-year, and we’ll see new models arrive later in the year.
MSI Helios 300
Whether you’re an avid gamer or just looking for a good gaming laptop for home use, the Helios 300 is a great option. It’s priced at a fraction of what other high-end gaming laptops cost and it packs the power of modern Intel processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics in a sleek design.
The Predator Helios 300 isn’t the prettiest gaming laptop you’ll find, but it’s still a great option. It has all of the power you’ll need for high-end gaming, plus VR support, and it comes with 16GB of RAM.
You can pick up the Predator Helios 300 in the US for around $1100. It’s also available in 17-inch models for a little more. However, the 15-inch model is cheaper, so you may want to consider that if you’re on a budget.
Acer’s Predator line has produced some of the best gaming laptops in the last two years. The new Helios 300 is a great choice for beginning PC gamers.
The Helios 300 isn’t as light as other GTX 1060 laptops, but it isn’t heavy either. It weighs 6 pounds. It doesn’t have a HDMI port, but it does have a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port and a card reader.
Acer’s design doesn’t quite match the Predator series, but the exterior has some nice design touches. The lid has a Predator logo on it, and it has a few red accents. The hinges are solid, and you can set the screen up in a variety of positions.
